SUBJECT: Request For Veteran Funeral Escort from TOOLMAN GA 5

On 17 August 2025 Toolman’s father, SFC (Ret) Kenneth Broadaway, passed away.   SFC Broadaway retired after 20+ years of service including 2 tours of duty in the Republic of Vietnam.   SFC Broadaway is to be laid to rest on 29 August 2025 at the Georgia National Cemetery near Canton, GA.

Toolman is sending an invitation out to the nation to assist in escorting the funeral procession from Owens Funeral Home 12 Collins Dr Cartersville, GA 30120 to the GA National Cemetery at 1080 Scott Hudgins Dr Canton, GA 30114.   The services begin on 29 Aug 2025 at 1100hrs and will move to the cemetery directly after they have concluded.   When the ceremony at the cemetery has concluded Toolman invites everyone to The Local Dive Bar at 120 S Erwin St Cartersville, GA 30120 for a memorial and further brotherhood and fellowship.

– Viewing: Thursday 28 August 2025 1600-2000 hrs

– FUNERAL SERVICES: Friday 29 August 2025 @ 1100

– Staging Motorcycles: 29 August 2025 @ 1000-1045 hrs

– (Travel to National Cemetery after service.)

– National Cemetery Funeral: 29 August 2025 @ 1300 hrs (Then return to Cartersville The Local Dive Bar at 120 S Erwin St Cartersville, GA 30120. )
