Indiana “Sandbox” Encampment

September 17 - September 20

This year Indiana will be incorporating our Encampment into the Howard County Vietnam Veterans Organization (HCVVO) “SANDBOX” Reunion which is scheduled to take place 17-20 September.

 The Sandbox Reunion is an annual event designed to honor and bring together veterans of more recent conflicts – specifically those who served in the Middle East (the “Sandbox”). For this event, we have secured space for us to camp and enjoy the Brotherhood with those that have served. In addition, we have been asked to take part in the Opening Ceremonies which will take place on Saturday, 19 September…a great way for us to get our Eagle out there and pay respect to this great Nation.

 The Reunion is a weekend of fun to include Brotherhood, food vendors, and live music.  Please consider joining us for a day or the entire weekend!

 Here is some specific need to know information:

  • $20 per person at the gate (all proceeds go to HCVVO)
  • No additional charge for primitive camping. If you do plan on spending the weekend and would like to bring your camper please contact TopOff from IN9 (574-721-0297) for more information
  • Hotels are available in the local area
  • Food vendors on site, but there will be plenty of us there with weekend rigs…we usually have plenty of food to share or available means to cook what you bring.
