SUMMARY:Indiana “Sandbox” Encampment
DESCRIPTION:This year Indiana will be incorporating our Encampment into the Howard County Vietnam Veterans Organization (HCVVO) “SANDBOX” Reunion which is scheduled to take place 17-20 September. \n The Sandbox Reunion is an annual event designed to honor and bring together veterans of more recent conflicts – specifically those who served in the Middle East (the “Sandbox”). For this event\, we have secured space for us to camp and enjoy the Brotherhood with those that have served. In addition\, we have been asked to take part in the Opening Ceremonies which will take place on Saturday\, 19 September…a great way for us to get our Eagle out there and pay respect to this great Nation. \n The Reunion is a weekend of fun to include Brotherhood\, food vendors\, and live music.  Please consider joining us for a day or the entire weekend! \n Here is some specific need to know information: \n\n$20 per person at the gate (all proceeds go to HCVVO)\nNo additional charge for primitive camping. If you do plan on spending the weekend and would like to bring your camper please contact TopOff from IN9 (574-721-0297) for more information\nHotels are available in the local area\nFood vendors on site\, but there will be plenty of us there with weekend rigs…we usually have plenty of food to share or available means to cook what you bring.\n\n  \n

DESCRIPTION:This ride is personal to our family and to many others who have carried the weight of losing someone who served our country and later lost their battle at home.\nWe will be riding 47 miles in honor of the 47 service members we lose every single day to suicide. This ride stands for them. It stands for the families still carrying their memories. It stands for the brothers and sisters who are still fighting.\nMost importantly\, this ride honors Codey and supports his two sons.\nOn Saturday September 19\, 2026 riders will gather in Bedford Virginia and ride the Smith Mountain Lake memorial route together as a community of veterans\, families\, riders\, supporters\, and friends who believe that no one should fight these battles alone. This ride will include a memorial ceremony\, a 47 bell tribute\, a 47 second engine salute.
